This lovely French chemise nightgown dates from circa 1900 and is a gorgeous linen and cotton night shirt! It has a beautiful natural antique white tone and is very sturdy material, a beautiful handwoven linen cotton blend! This textile was made to be worn under clothing, to bed and for work wear. This piece has beautiful scalloped detailing around the neckline and cuffs, and little hand stitched pleats on the front - just beautiful! MEASUREMENTS : This beautiful vintage textile measures approximately:
48 inches long
The sleeves measure approximately 21 inches from the armpit to the cuff
From shoulder seam to shoulder seam, this piece is approximately 15 inches
The chest measures approximately 26.5 inches flat across
The waist measures approximately 28 inches flat across

CONDITION: I have freshly laundered this beautiful chemise and it's ready to wear! There is a hole in the seam at the neck; see photos and use the zoom feature to see details. Otherwise, this piece is in really gorgeous condition for this type of antique textile!
